Ramon Reyes is the co-founder and visionary behind Happy Munkey LLC.  His inspiration for Happy Munkey bloomed after witnessing the vast difference in attitudes other countries had regarding cannabis use when compared to his home, New York City.  He also recognized that NYC did not have a unifying voice to embody the unique culture of New York cannabis consumers, who contradict the negative stigma of being “lazy” after indulging in cannabis use on a daily basis.  Ramon grew up in Washington Heights, and has experienced the evolution of the local cannabis culture firsthand, which has aided him in building a deep understanding of the cannabis' nuances, fads and trends.  Through Ramon’s intuitive management Happy Munkey has organized public events for people from all sides of the cannabis spectrum to share their experiences and beliefs in a comfortable environment.  Additionally, Ramon and his team utilize various mediums in their goal of arming the people of NYC with facts about the history, politics, and medical benefits of cannabis by dispelling the overwhelming myths and folktales regarding the plant.

Born and raised in Hamilton Heights, NYC, Vladimir Bautista is a formidable advocate and leader in the cannabis space. He is the co-founder and managing member of Happy Munkey LLC, an internationally-known NYC lifestyle company that is synonymous with cannabis culture. Vlad is widely recognized for his deep relationships with the international cannabis elite and his successful experience in music, hospitality and event production. Coming from Harlem, Rafael Hernandez, graduated from Hunter College, with a BFA in Film. Rafael started out as the first Happy Munkey employee as an executive assistant and is currently a content creator putting his skills to use producing the Happy Munkey Podcast. Arian Walker is a visual artist, model and support engineer residing in NYC. Also known as Tech King due to his infinite tech knowledge constantly being put to use as Happy Munkey's resident Chief Technology Officer. Arian also serves on the board of NYC NormL. What is your favorite strain?

Black Rose (Rosemary Servino) is comedian, actress and a true Renaissance Woman. She’s a supporter of the cannabis movement and helps spread awareness with her comedic wit and great energy. A Socialite hailing from Harlem, NYC with Dominican roots, she represents the Afro LatinX community. One of our favorite roles she plays is “La Doña” where she portrays the role of an older Latin lady who has her own views on cannabis. We see Rose bring to life images we might have experienced with our parents or grandparents growing up and the stigmas around the matter. We hope to help inform everyone the benefits of CBD oils and how they can help with arthritis, fibroids, cervical cancer, anxiety, seizures and so many other things.

Happy Munkey's very own Jose Rozay, original event host and ambassador of the brand. Rozay over a decade of nightlife experience and involvement in high-profile NYC events. With roots stemming from the Dominican Republic, and raised in Harlem, Uptown Manhattan all his life made him a true New Yorker. He not only gained street knowledge, but also book smarts that led him to receive a college degree, proving that getting high can get you high grades. Rozay is an amalgam of fun-filled good energy, wisdom, and love. As the fight for legalization of cannabis in NYC continues he believes weed will bring more peace to the world and promises to do his part to show that through more legendary events and the Happy Munkey brand!

NYC Sour Diesel

Coming from The Highbridge area of the Bronx is Happy Munkey Brand Ambassador Fresh Puffington aka “Mr Puffington”. He is an educator, entrepreneur, Cannabis Cup judge, championship roller and dab connoisseur.  As an avid Jeremy Scott Adidas collector he can be spotted wearing sneakers with tails or wings attached to them. He prefers smoking concentrates over flower. His favorite dab rig is his PuffCo Peak so he can always take dabs on the fly. When he does consider flower, his creative rolling projects (such as cross joints or a smokeable scorpion) are sure to be a conversation piece at any event on the New York cannabis scene. He has won various NYC rolling competitions with his rolling skills to attest to that. He loves purple buds specifically.
