Celebrating 4202020 Like Never Before

Covid-19 definitely put a munkey wrench in any plan of traditionally celebrating 420 this year, but Corona definitely did not stop the 420 festivities. If anything the nationwide lockdowns forced us Happy Munkey’s to get creative! Instead of being able to sesh with the homies in person, we took the holidaze online! This 420 the Happy Munkey crew was super busy smoking dabs, rolling joints, and of course vibing with our Tribe! Check out below how we spent the high Holidaze from coast to coast!

Chronic Relief:

There is no question we are experiencing some crazy times, and the effects of Covid19 are being felt heavy here at the global epicenter and all around the U.S.

That is why we were proud to partner with Chronic Relief & Feeding America to raise money for those that are facing hunger during this pandemic. The cannabis industry was built on the healing spirit of the cannabis plant. As industry leaders and the heart of New York Cannabis, we believe at Happy Munkey LLC it is extremely important to give back to the community.

Thanks to David Tran and Farechild Events, we joined leaders of the cannabis industry from coast to coast for a very special “Streaming Telethon” to help raise money for Feeding America on 4/20. The Happy Munkey crew did our part and even shot a segment for the Telathon in an empty Time Square! By the end of the fundraiser we raised enough money for over 9,000 meals for families severely hit by the pandemic!

4X20 Virtual Conference:

In addition to missing seshing with our Happy Munkey Fam this holidaze, we also missed hitting conferences with all of our cannabis industry friends! Luckily the wonderful Hope Wiseman had us covered with the 4X20 Virtual conference taking place on 4/19 & 4/20! Happy Munkey proudly sponsored the experience and hit the virtual halls to see cannabis pioneers, innovators, trailblazers, and of course long time Happy members take the online stage. There was an option for virtual networking with the conference attendees! And even live DJ sets to close out the conference festivities! If you are reading this, Thank you Hope Wiseman for putting together such an uplifting and informational event for the high holidaze! In tough times like these it is efforts like 4X20 that inspire and energize people to continue channeling positivity!

This 420 we brought y’all nonstop content all day long! From coast to coast we dropped new Happy Munkey TV videos on every 4:20 AM and PM! We started the High holiday off early @4:20AM (EST) with a voicedrop from the legendary Uncutt of Uncutt Art! Next @4:20AM (MST) we took a trip out west to the PDX. And then finished off the morning cyph sessions @4:20AM (PST) with a one of a kind look into history of cannabis in Washington Heights! We then kicked off the first 420 Sesh of the afternoon @4:20PM EST with the HappyMunkey Podcast featuring LiveLikeDavis, Sid Gupta, + Ben Leiner! @4:20PM MST we sat back and laughed at this hilarious interview with the legendary Host of The Whoolywood Shuffle on Sirius/XM Radio DJ Whoo Kid & Danny Danko! Lastly we finished up the holiday @4:20PM PST with a very special edition of Happy Munkey Happy Hour featuring Al Harrington & two-time Super Bowl champion Ahmad Bradshaw!
